Seeker Wireless announce first contract for SeekerZone.

Seeker Wireless today confirmed the signing of the first SeekerZone contract to provide a mobile operator with the ability to allow subscribers to use their existing 2G and 3G mobile phones as their home phones. 

"Today's contract is a vote of confidence in the unique SeekerZone solution, and the benefits it can provide mobile operators", said General Manager, Andrew Grill.

"The contract is the result of a range of intensive field trials that proved the increased benefits that SeekerZone brings over traditional Cell-ID based Home Zone solutions".

Seeker Wireless today launched Seeker Zone™ to respond to the needs of mobile operators for a cost effective Fixed-Mobile-Substitution (FMS) solution for HomeZone type solutions. 

Seeker Zone™ enables operators to utilise existing 2G and 3G handsets to provide tighter and more accurate Home Zones than currently available from solutions that utilise Cell-ID location technologies.
