Seeker Wireless and Acision have partnered with SPH Search, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), to launch Singapore’s first cross-telco mobile search marketing solution - Rednano Locate.
This partnership represents the world’s first commercial launch of a fully integrated GPS – Cellular – WiFi Location System.
Enabled by Seeker Wireless’ SeekerLocate™ solution, and Acision’s expertise in mobile marketing, Rednano Locate is a mobile application that allows consumers to perform a location search on more than 100,000 vendors through SPH Search’s directory of business listings.
The search results produced have location-specific information on the establishment via the Directory feature, and will list full addresses, contact details and a link to view maps. Users can also access the latest traffic updates with the 'Live' Traffic feature. Those looking for value in this time of economic uncertainty can click on the Promotions tab to enjoy a wide range of exclusive promotions and discounts from the more than 500 listings.
The Rednano Locate service brings location-based search to mass-market handsets.
